Hong Feng attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Asia-Pacific headquarters of Global New Materials, an investment project of the venture capital group.
On March 25th, a groundbreaking ceremony for the Global New Materials International Asia-Pacific headquarters and surface performance materials R&D and production base project, invested by the Provincial Venture Capital Group, was grandly held in Tonglu County, Hangzhou. Leaders including Yao Gaoyuan, Deputy Secretary of the Hangzhou Municipal Committee and Mayor; Zhang Ze, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University; Hong Feng, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Zhejiang Provincial State-owned Capital Operation Co., Ltd.; and Su Ertian, Chairman and CEO of Global New Materials International Holdings Co., Ltd., attended the ceremony. Sun Xudong, Deputy Mayor of Hangzhou, announced the commencement of the project. Xia Jiliang, Zhang Huina, Shao Weibin, Zhou Pingying, and other leaders from Tonglu County's four leading groups also participated.

Global New Materials is a Hong Kong Main Board listed company (stock abbreviation: Global New Materials, code: 06616) ranking third globally and first in the Asia-Pacific region in pearlescent materials and artificial synthetic mica materials. It is also the undertaking unit of the key basic new materials - artificial synthetic mica project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The company possesses globally leading key core invention patent technologies for synthetic mica and pearlescent materials. The Global New Materials International Asia-Pacific headquarters and surface performance materials R&D and production base project, located in Tonglu, covers an area of 800 mu (approximately 53 hectares) with a total investment of 10.3 billion yuan. It is Global New Materials' first 10-billion-yuan-plus project in the Yangtze River Delta region. After the project is put into production, it will strongly promote the high-end and clustered development of Hangzhou's manufacturing industry and make significant contributions to the province's "415X" advanced manufacturing industry cluster and Hangzhou's five major industrial ecological circles. This project was recommended and introduced by the Provincial Venture Capital Group, fully reflecting the investment philosophy of the Provincial Venture Capital Group's "one-third investment, seven-tenths service." Next, Zhejiang Venture Capital will continue to pay attention to the implementation process of this project, give full play to the function of shareholder service support, and inject new impetus into cultivating and developing new productive forces and promoting high-quality development of the county economy.
