576 companies accelerate the pace of new stock issuance
The A-share market is accelerating the issuance of new stocks. According to the latest information on IPO applications for the main board and the ChiNext board released by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), as of May 17, there were a total of 682 companies whose applications were under review or had passed the review and were awaiting issuance. After excluding 106 companies that had passed the review, had their reviews suspended, or had their votes postponed, a total of 576 companies are vying for IPOs.
576 companies are vying for IPOs
According to statistics from the Securities Daily reporter based on the basic information of IPO applications for the main board and ChiNext board released by the CSRC, as of May 17, after excluding 92 companies that have passed the review, 13 companies whose reviews have been suspended, and 1 company whose vote has been postponed on the main board and ChiNext board, a total of 576 companies are currently going through the process and waiting for the review results of the issuance review committee. Among them, 318 companies are on the main board and 258 are on the ChiNext board.
Since the beginning of this year, the acceleration of new stock issuance has become a market consensus. According to statistics from TongHuaShun iFind, a total of 187 companies have applied for IPOs this year, with 38 in January; 14 in February under the transition of the old and new pre-disclosure policies; a rapid increase to 45 in March; a decline to 39 in April; and a surge to 51 companies under review since May, including 16 companies that went to the meeting this week.
